Thank you for your interest in joining RVA!
We have a membership limit of 270 families and are generally at capacity. If you submit an application, we are happy to put you on the wait-list and invite you into membership as your number on the wait-list becomes available in the future. Typically there are 20-30 spots available each summer and wait-listed parties are contacted in early April regarding open spots.
There is a non-refundable fee of $50 when you submit an application for membership. Once you join, the membership initiation fee of $2,500 is paid only the first year that you are a member. Annual dues of $800 for a Family Membership, are billed and due in the Spring. After the first year of membership, annual dues are your only consistently recurring financial commitment. Please note that fees are subject to change and that the Board reserves the right to make a special assessment for improvements to the facility as the need arises.
It is also required you provide two current RVA members (from different families) as references. To expedite Board approval, please coordinate these references before submitting the application.

Due to our current wait list, memberships will ONLY be offered to those families within the RVA boundaries. See below for specifics:
“Membership is constituted of residents who reside within the following boundaries: starting at the intersection on North Druid Hills Rd. and Buford Highway, along Buford Highway to Piedmont Rd. via Sidney Marcus Blvd., north along Piedmont Rd. and Roswell Rd. to Windsor Parkway, east along Windsor Parkway to Cross Keys Dr., south on Cross Keys Dr. to Peachtree Rd., southwest on Peachtree Rd. to North Druid Hills Rd. then south on North Druid Hills Rd. which is the point of beginning.”
We verify addresses before offering memberships, so please do not pay for our non-refundable wait list fee if outside of the boundary area.
