We have a membership limit of 270 families and are generally at capacity. If you submit an application, we are happy to put you on the wait-list and invite you into membership as your number on the wait-list becomes available in the future. Typically there are 20-30 spots available each summer and wait-listed parties are contacted in early April regarding open spots.
There is a non-refundable fee of $100 when you submit an application for membership. Once you join, the membership initiation fee of $2,500 is paid only the first year that you are a member. Annual dues of $850 for a Family Membership, are billed and due in the Spring. After the first year of membership, annual dues are your only consistently recurring financial commitment. Please note that fees are subject to change and that the Board reserves the right to make a special assessment for improvements to the facility as the need arises.
It is also required you provide two current RVA members (from different families) as references. To expedite Board approval, please coordinate these references before submitting the application.
